·  Carried out a wide range of responsibilities, including active director management and network security, to web management, budgetary oversight and project development

·  Served as the primary point of contact for four distinct networks comprising 30+ servers and 1500 workstations for existing and new customers.  Supervised trouble-ticket and troubleshooting procedures, greatly reducing customer wait time and virtually eliminating unplanned network outages.

·  Duties assigned as Subject Matter Expert for Desktop Support included supervision of 5-person staff, ensured enforcement of standard operating procedures and maintained all requirements in support of the National Security Agency and Department of Defense directives

·  Highly focused on maintaining Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements and IAVA/IAVB standards, resulting in no network compromises, and zero discrepancies noted during government-mandated inspections

·  Assisted Network Engineers in configuring DHCP, e-mail, and file/print/application servers, resulting in a modernized and flexible operating environment

·  Performed regular audits of testing and training materials, ensuring the most up-to-date material was being verified and utilized for training and testing.  This kept the Intelligence Specialist rating current with the ever-evolving, real-world threat environment.

  Nov 2005-May 2006

·  Hand selected to lead a multi-service, multi-national intelligence team in support of Afghanistan military operations 

·  Provided daily guidance and leadership to 40+ personnel in a combat zone.  Maintained the highest team morale with zero personnel casualties or injuries.

·  Coordinated with technical support personnel on site to ensure the most up-to-date computer network equipment was deployed and security requirements met
